Triad Collaboration Brew announced
Fresh on the heels of taking part in a state-wide beer collaboration, several Triad-area breweries announced this week plans for their own project.
Six regional breweries will take part on the first ever Triad Collaboration Brew, according to Mark Gibb, owner of Gibb’s Hundred in Greensboro.
A beer style and timeline have yet to be determined, but the beer will be a barrel-aged beer and brewed at Gibb’s Hundred on Lewis Street in Greensboro.
Participating breweries are: Haw River Farmhouse Ales, Hoots Beer Co, Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery, Mystery Brewing Co, and Skull Camp Brewing.
“The incredible vitality of the Triad beer scene is highlighted by all of the breweries-in-planning that will join the collaboration: Barristers Brewing, Burlington Beer Works, Four Saints Brewing Co, Preyer Brewing Co, Wise Man Brewing and XII Tribes Brewing,” the collaborators announced in a press release.
The group has a Facebook page for following its activities. The brew will likely take place in November and be released in early 2015, following the barrel-aging process.
