    Triad Easter brunch guide

    Getting the family together for Easter? Several restaurants will let you relax while they do the cooking. Here’s a look at some of the local eateries that are serving a special Easter Brunch. You’ll want to call the restaurants for availability and reservations.

    Graze
    Winston-Salem

    Chef Richard Miller’s annual feast has more items that you can count, including waffles and omelets made to order, leg of lamb, baked ham, fixings and desserts a-plenty. Visit www.grazews.com for the complete menu. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $42.95 per person, and children are $12.95. Reservations are recommended, call (336)722-5232.

     

    Providence Restaurant
    Winston-Salem

    A packed brunch buffet including a salad bar, Easter ham, potatoes, fried chicken, catfish, baked rigatoni, cornbread and dessert.

    Meridian Restaurant
    Winston-Salem

    Easter brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef Mark Grohman will offer appetizers and salads as well as brunch entrees such as eggs benedict, French toast, frittatas, chicken biscuit with gravy and grilled rosemary ham. Call (336) 722-8889 for reservations.

    Tavern in Old Salem
    Winston-Salem
    The Tavern will have its annual special Easter brunch menu specially curated by Chef Jared Keiper with items like a quiche of the day, smashed avocado toast, and blackberry and sweet mascarpone crepes. There will be a few specials on Easter as well. Reservations recommended, call (336) 722-1227.

    The Katharine Brasserie
    Winston-Salem


    The Katharine Brasserie has a special Easter brunch buffet with traditional items and hot and chilled sides, including an omelet station plus dessert. $50 per adult, $15 per child under 12. Children under 6 eat free. For reservations, call (336) 761-0203

    (New Garden location only)
    Melt will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will take reservations for parties of 8 or more. Super casual but delicious offerings such as beignets, shrimp and grits, steak and egg burritos, fried chicken biscuits and omelets. Prices vary for entrees. Bottomless mimosas are $11.

    Print Works Bistro
    Greensboro
    Chef Leigh Hesling and his team will make a traditional brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Proximity Hotel. Selections of roasted meat, hot and cold displays and desserts, are included in the brunch. Reservations required, call (336) 215-2868.
    The cost is $52.95 for adults, $16.95 for children 12 & under, plus tax and gratuity.

    Undercurrent
    Greensboro
    Open for Easter brunch with Easter Specials. Call for reservations (336) 370-1266

    Childress Vineyards
    Lexington
    Brunch starts at 11 a.m., adults are $37, and children 7-12 are $18.50. This brunch features live music, and buffet items such as ham, salmon, fried catfish, a carving station, sides and desserts. The regular menu will not be available on Easter. Reservation required by credit card, call (336) 236-9463 or visit www. childressvineyards.com/Bistro.
