The Surry Arts Council presents Jim Quick & Coastline on Friday, July 20th at 7:30 PM in the Blackmon Amphitheatre (across from the Andy Griffith Playhouse in Mount Airy). This fun, party band promises a great show filled with soul, blues, and rock classics. Admission is $10 or 2012 SAC Season Pass. MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer Jason Aldean has been on a strong and steady climb, breaking all-genre sales and touring records in over 40 venues over the last two years, with no sign of slowing down. The CMA and ACM Award winner announced he will kick off the first leg of his 2013 Night Train Tourin Bossier City, LA on Feb. 21 and roll on to 23 cities through May. Special guests Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will jump on the 'Train' with Aldean in 2013.rnrnJASON ALDEAN will play the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday, May 18. Dolley Day at the Greensboro Historical Museum

In celebration of Dolley Payne Madison's 245th birthday, the Greensboro Historical Museum will host an array of activities for visitors. Jane Thomas will portray Dolley and share stories. The education staff will teach visitors how to make a turban, how to build a family tree, and how to make a cravat. There will also be a children's coloring activity and Tangram fun. This is a free event for all ages.
