Two more charged in Downtown Winston-Salem brawl
Information from the public has helped the Winston-Salem Police Department identify two more suspects involved in a violent downtown fight that occurred April 19.Winston-Salem police arrested three men involved in the fight that night, and asked the public to help identify others via a YouTube video.Downtown Bike Patrol officers responded to a loud disturbance near West Fourth Street and North Cherry Street just after 2 a.m. on April 19. Officers arrived to find Michael Huffman, 22, or Trinity “cursing and yelling in the street.” Police arrested Huffman for disorderly conduct when he continued to make a disturbance after police arrive.Police discovered a video of the incident on Sunday, which helped them identify Seth Morgan, 23, of Thomasville and Bryan McGee, 20, of Advance, who were involved in the fight. Both were charged with disorderly conduct and simple affray, which is the legal word for fighting in public.Police announced on April 20 that they discovered a video a posted on YouTube that depicted the incident. By Wednesday, police announced that information provided by the public helped them identify two of the additional suspects. Police arrested Joshua Wilson Henley, 26, of East Bend on Friday and charged him with disorderly conduct and simple affray. On Saturday, police arrested Ryan Gill Brooks, 21, of Mocksville for similar charges.The identity of suspect number two from the original press release is still unknown. Police described him as:”Black Male wearing white pants and white shirt with thin black strips.”The Winston-Salem Police Department continues to follow-up on additional leads in an attempt to identify Subject #2 listed above.
