Win $250 in Triad Goodwill’s DIY Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest: Enter Your Original Creation by December 1
Greensboro, N.C. – Triad Goodwill wants to make the holiday season fun and happy for Triad families. They’re holding a DIY Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest – with a first place prize of $250! Entries are being accepted now through noon on Thursday, December 1, 2016 via email or Facebook Messenger. See complete rules at iLoveGoodwill.org/holiday to enter. The public will then be invited to vote by “liking” their favorite sweaters on the Triad Goodwill Facebook page between December 2 and December 16, which just happens to be National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day! The winner will be the entry with the most Facebook “likes” at 4:00 p.m. on December 16, 2016.
1st Place: $250 VISA gift card
2nd Place: $100 Triad Goodwill gift card
3rd Place: $50 Triad Goodwill gift card
Ugly sweaters can have a Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s or general winter theme. To be eligible to win, sweater designers can create their one-of-a-kind look with materials from any of the departments at Triad Goodwill’s 21 stores in Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham Counties in North Carolina. Entries must include receipts showing at least 75% of the items used to create the Ugly Sweater were purchased at Triad Goodwill stores.
