10th Annual Christmas Eve Dinner and Giveaway
GREENSBORO—On Dec. 24, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Jessa-Maria Foundation, along with Ashtae Products, will host its 10th Annual Christmas Eve Dinner and Giveaway. In years past, the foundation has fed and gifted over 500 individuals from the Greensboro community, but this year’s goal is to exceed that.
The purpose of this event is to provide a free hot meal to those who are less fortunate or unable to provide a loving Christmas celebration for their family. “Although for some this is ‘the most wonderful time of the year,’ we know that for others it’s also the loneliest or most difficult,” said Taylore Woods, volunteer coordinator, The Jessa-Maria Foundation. “That’s why we host this dinner—So people can have a warm place to eat and fellowship and truly experience the love and joy that’s associated with Christmas,” said Woods.
All who attend the event will leave with warm clothes for the whole family, toys and books for the kids, as well as a chance to enter the annual Jessa-Maria Bike Raffle. Upon entrance, raffle tickets will be dispersed to each member of the family for their participation in the raffle.
The event will be held at 1325 S. Eugene St. Greensboro, NC 27406.
