4th Annual Carolina Jubilee Music and Food Festival Sept. 28-29
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – July 9, 2018 – Carolina Farm Trust is proud to present the 4th Annual Carolina Jubilee – a two-day music and food festival on Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29. It will take place at VanHoy Farms, located at 742 Jericho Rd., Harmony, N.C. 28634, about an hour north of Charlotte.
Along with an impressive lineup of area musical artists, the festival offers regionally produced fresh foods and beverages from several North Carolina farms, breweries and wineries. Proceeds from the event benefit Carolina Farm Trust’s mission of significantly increasing the availability of healthy fresh food grown, distributed, and eaten locally.
Featured musical artists vary from blues and funk to folk and include Susto, Acoustic Syndicate, Dangermuffin, The Way Down Wanderers, and many more. Sponsors of this year’s festival include: Iredell County Parks and Recreation; Farm Credit Carolina; Energy United; Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau; Kewaunee; Adams; and Katten, Muchin & Rosenman, LLP.
Tickets are available online at TheCarolinaJubilee.org. Single-day tickets are $35 and weekend passes are $55. Camping permits are also available for a nominal fee. The festival also needs volunteers and more information can be found on the website.
“The Carolina Jubilee music and food festival is one of a kind – there’s nothing else like it in the Carolinas,” said Zack Wyatt, executive director of Carolina Farm Trust. “The bands represent some of the very best talent in the region and a wide variety of musical styles. Carolina Jubilee is our mission in practice. All the food and beverages offered are grown, raised, or produced right here in the Carolinas and are part of our vision for increasing the availability of healthy fresh food which is grown, distributed, and eaten locally.”
