    WHAT: The American Roots Bluegrass Festival was founded in 2014 with the love of music and community. This annual event includes some of the hottest Bluegrass bands, primitive camping/RV parking, fun vendors, Veteran recognition ceremony, and the experience of a lifetime!     28 2015 LINCOLN FUNERAL TRAIN

    WHAT: The N.C. Transportation Museum will immerse visitors in Civil War history with the 2015 Lincoln Funeral Train, pulled by the Leviathan locomotive. It’s an amazing recreation of the engine and car that transportation the remains of the nation’s 16th President from Washington D.C. to Springfield, Ill. in May of 1865. WHEN: 6:30 p.m. WHERE: NC Transportation Museum. 411 South Salisbury Avenue, Spencer. MORE: $14-$40 admission.

    WHAT: The East West BBQ Fest is a celebration of great BBQ, great music and zany fun, and when we say zany we mean it. We want attendees to our BBQ festival to leave satisfied with the food and marveling over the entertainment. We hope we can do that  for you.     WHAT: Come get CRAZY with us! The Color Vibe is coming to Greensboro on August 29th and wants you to experience the most #VIBErant 5k of all time! Grab your friends and family and join us as we blast you with lots of fun, epic beats and TONS OF COLOR while you run/walk our course. You’ll come as a blank canvas and leave a colorful mural!     WHAT: We will be hosting the first Clemmons Ice Cream Festival at the Tanglewood Farmers Market. Festivities, in addition to the market vendors include a homemade ice cream competition; numerous activities including balloon animals, potato stamping, ice cream toss, and more!
