There’s always something going on at Lyndon Street Artworks, so much so that you can almost hear the creative buzz being generated from within. On a recent visit we found actress and model LaMyra Kinzer wandering around the Good As A Mugg film production studios on the ground floor. She’s hard to miss – statuesque and dusky with an easy smile and flawless complexion, attributes that help win her modeling gigs and acting roles in the area’s burgeoning film industry. LaMyra is featured in GAaM’s post-apocalyptic feature Dawn of the Redneck Samurai and had a small role in Puck’d, that one with Bon Jovi and Bud Bundy, and has made numerous appearances in other features and shorts. She’s currently up for the role of Janelle, the “mysterious and exotic” manipulator, in the upcoming LiveMansion.com: The Movie (you can vote for her at the website). But she got her start at the Andy Griffith Theater in Mt. Airy, where she was among the choir of angels in a production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Awwwww.
