Ann B. Ross, Bestselling Author of “Miss Julia” Series, to Visit Winston-Salem
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Bookmarks is proud to present New York Times bestselling author Ann B. Ross on April 5 and 6 at two locations in Winston-Salem. Ross will visit Bookmarks at 634 W. Fourth Street #110 on Thursday, April 5, at 5:30 p.m. and on Friday, April 6, Ross will speak at 11:30 a.m. at Reynolda Manor Branch Library at 2839 Fairlawn Drive Northwest. She will discuss Miss Julia Raises the Roof, the newest novel in her beloved “Miss Julia” series. Both events are free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase by Bookmarks and there will be a book signing after each event.
A favorite of book clubs across the country, Ross is the author of 19 novels featuring the popular Southern heroine Miss Julia. Ross holds a doctorate in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has taught literature at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina, which is the basis for the town in her “Miss Julia” series.
Bookmarks is a literary arts nonprofit organization that fosters a love of reading and writing in the community.
