ArtsGreensboro Relaunches I ♥ Arts Month in April
Greensboro, N.C., April 1, 2019 — April is I ♥ Arts month in Greensboro and ArtsGreensboro is partnering with local businesses and organization to raise awareness in support of the local arts scene. Throughout the month of April, there will be a variety of events across the city to help raise funds for the ArtsFund, which supports over 50 arts organizations, projects, teachers, and artists annually.
I ♥ Arts month is made in partnership with the City of Greensboro, Greensboro Downtown Residents’ Association and numerous local businesses who are participating in the month long campaign by placing a blue “Feed Your Arts Scene” donation jar at registers and by donating a portion of their earnings on a specific day to the ArtsFund. Other events include, Tour des Art – a public art scavenger hunt taking place on Sat., April h at 12pm. Europa Bar & Café will be opening their doors at 11am to the public that Saturday to host a special Arts Brunch which will kick-off the scavenger hunt that follows. The event will close with a social at Gibb’s Hundred Brewing and will include a barbecue feast for all scavenger hunt participants. Food made possible by Triad Local First and Sir Charles & Queen Carmen Gourmet Sauces. Additional events include, SynerG On Tap at CVA Gallery, open mic Poetry Café at Triad Stage, Gate City Live Podcast and Guilford County Schools Art Awards at PTI Airport.
