Where are you from?
How long have you been bartending?
I have been a bartender since I turned 21. So, five years now!
How did you become a bartender?
I started at a small dive bar in Greensboro and then accepted a position at a Country Club in Winston-Salem. There I perfected my skills and learned the art of craft cocktails! A lot of self-teaching and YouTube, but it got me to where I’m at today.
What do you enjoy about bartending?
Making drinks that not only taste awesome but look amazing!
What’s your favorite drink to make?
That’s honestly a tie between Unicorn’s Milk and an Old Fashioned.
What’s your favorite drink to drink?
Winston Back with an ice-cold Mystic Dragon cider!
What would you recommend as an after-dinner drink?
Earl’s exclusive Russell’s Reserve, neat.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen while bartending?
Watching Elvis impersonator chug a Fishbowl in the middle of his set with no shame.
What’s the best/biggest tip you’ve ever gotten?
$250 + an order of steamed dumplings
