East Greensboro NOW plans Minority Business Networking Event for April 25
Greensboro, N.C. (April 12, 2019) – East Greensboro NOW, in collaboration with AJOY Consulting, LLC, will host the 8th AnnualGate City Minority Business Opportunity Fair on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Khalif Event Center, 2000 E. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC. This event is free and open to minority and women-owned businesses interested in contracting opportunities with our local public institutions and governmental agencies.
Cone Health, this year’s Lead Sponsor, will conduct an exclusive Power Networking Hour for a limited number of attendees. This session of the event requires a separate RSVP.
Participants in The Gate City Minority Business Opportunity Fair will include key representatives from the City of Greensboro, Guilford County, Guilford County Schools, Guilford Technical Community College, NC A&T State University, NC Military Business Center, NC Department of Transportation and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Event attendees can also learn about additional opportunities with event sponsors including: Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, Piedmont Business Capital, Greensboro Housing Authority, Guilford Merchants Association, Self-Help Credit Union and a few others to be confirmed.
This networking event is hosted by East Greensboro NOW and AJOY Consulting, LLC to support Historically Underutilized Businesses, including minority and women-owned business enterprises. “This event allows minority and women-owned firms to make key contacts and uncover new opportunities for revenue growth,” says Phil Barnhill, Executive Vice President at East Greensboro NOW.
