Fall Program to Begin at NorthState Tech Lab at HQ Greensboro
Greensboro, NC (October 3, 2019)—Nine entrepreneurial businesses have been selected to participate in the NorthState Tech Lab at HQ Greensboro this fall. Sponsored by NorthState in partnership with HQ Greensboro, the six-week program is provided at no cost to participants to foster entrepreneurial growth among local emerging companies. The Tech Lab will begin on October 7 and continue until November 11.
The Fall 2019 cohort is comprised of social entrepreneurs—companies who combine their entrepreneurial passion with a social mission to make an even greater impact in the community. These social impact entrepreneurs intentionally built businesses to provide new or better solutions that address a wide range of issues facing society.
Participants will receive business training on various topics including business and financial modeling, marketing, and how to use technology to scale. Additionally, the nine entrepreneurs will be embedded in a network of like-minded people who offer support and vital business connections through free membership and access to HQ Greensboro.
“The Tech Lab program is a great way for entrepreneurs in our area to develop the business and technology skills that are crucial for long-term success,” NorthState President and Chief Executive Officer Royster Tucker III said. “The first year of the Tech Lab was very successful, and we look forward to making the second Tech Lab an even greater success by equipping participants with the latest skills that will benefit them throughout their careers.”
