Greensboro Arm Wrestling League celebrates the ladies of the ‘80s June 2 at Gibb’s Hundred
GREENSBORO (May 17, 2018) – The Greensboro Arm Wrestling League presents GRAWL Brawl VIII: Ladies of the ‘80s at 7 p.m., June 2, at the new Gibb’s Hundred Brewing Company location, 504 State St., Greensboro. This event is a benefit for the Arc of Greensboro’s RemARCable CommUNITY program.
GRAWL Brawl VIII will benefit the RemARCable CommUNITY program at Gibb’s Hundred Brewing Company
GRAWL is bringing out the most dangerous ladies in arm wrestling: girl reporter April O’Heel, the AquaNet Queen Whammy Faye Baker, sexy sad girl Cry Babe, raging Golden Girl Sophia K.O. Petrillo, rocker Ginger Rage, the Artist of Purple Rain fame, the murderous mean girls the Megans, and your favorite teeny bopper Kelly KaPOWski, who will wrestle on behalf of the Arc.
The Arc of Greensboro has a wide range of programs that give people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to realize their goals. The RemArcable CommUNITY incorporates art, gardening, exercise and nutrition, and encourages health, happiness, and wellness for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
DJ84 will be spinning beats throughout the event and guest judges for the evening will be pinup and body paint artist Brandi Valentine, burlesque dancer Memphis Muerte, and Alex Amoroso, owner of Cheesecakes by Alex.
Admission is $6. Audience members are encouraged to donate more money throughout the event by contributing to their favorite wrestlers. Doors open at 7 pm. Arm wrestling begins at 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. This is an all-ages event.
