Greensboro Arm Wrestling League’s Third Season Premiers Feb. 3
‘GRAWLstars’ will benefit the Kellin Foundation
GREENSBORO (January 22, 2018) – The lovely ladies of the Greensboro Arm Wrestling League (GRAWL) will return for their third season of fierce feminist philanthropy with GRAWL Brawl VII: GRAWLstars, at 7 p.m., Feb. 3, at Gibb’s Hundred, 117 W. Lewis St., Greensboro. This event is a benefit for the Kellin Foundation.
GRAWL is bringing back some of your favorite arm wrestlers to show off their upper body strength: ChewBecky, the Dewey Decimator, Rainbow Fight, Lucille Brawl, UrSLAMya the Sea Bitch, Sleazy Weasley and Babe Lincoln. First-time wrestler BamBam InstaSLAM will wrestle on behalf of Kellin Foundation.
The Kellin Foundation offers a wide variety of services and programs that support children, individuals, families, and communities to achieve safety and wellness. Its initiatives include providing free mental health and substance abuse services to uninsured adults, support for children who have experienced violence or trauma, and leadership training for middle school girls.
DJ84 will be spinning beats throughout the event and guest judges for the evening will be Our State Magazine Editor-in-Chief Elizabeth Hudson and Reporter Nick Sturdivant.
Admission is $6. Audience members are encouraged to donate more money throughout the event by contributing to their favorite wrestlers. Doors open at 7 pm. Arm wrestling begins at 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. This is an all-ages event.
