Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Hosts Apple Pancake & Celebration Day Saturday, November 17, 8 am – 11:30 am
Greensboro, NC – The public is invited to the Apple Pancake and Celebration Day on Sat., Nov. 17, 2018 from 8:00 am -11:30 am while supplies last at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville Street). Live Music will be on the Lawn weather permitting starting with the UNCG Spartones followed by Tony Low. This event will be held rain or shine with additional seating in Cook’s Corner and the Annex Room, inside the Market.
Guest chef Alex and Tim Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will serve their famous light and fluffy apple pancakes, made with their special recipe of harvest apples and fall spices. Two large pancakes will be served with a choice of toppings. The suggested donation is $5 per plate with an additional side of Neese’s sausage patty for $2. Proceeds benefit Greensboro Farmers Market, a 501 – c3 non-profit.
Celebrate fall’s orchard harvest by shopping for local produce and products, from apples to seasonal pies, fruit butters and autumnal foliage and flowers. A variety of apples can be found across the Market including Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Blondie Gala, Rome, Magna Bonum, Fuji, Arkansas Black, Turley, Stayman, Granny Smith, McIntosh, York, Limbertwig and Pink Lady. Leonard’s Orchards will provide apples for sampling and can be purchased on Aisle C, Table 52 & 53.

Location and Hours of Operation
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 12 pm (April 18 – December 19). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
