High Point Arts Council presents Third Thursday Featuring Multiple Intelligence Band
Join the High Point Arts Council in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) on Thursday, April 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Centennial Station Arts Center for a special evening full of jazz music by the Multiple Intelligence Band! Tickets for this event are $5 which includes a complimentary wine tasting by Barefoot Wine beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at highpointarts.org/events or on the night of the event at the ticket office beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Bringing together many of the Triad’s finest musicians, Multiple Intelligence Band (MIB) creates a one-of-a-kind show that blends classic and contemporary hits with their own jazz fusion. Officially based in High Point, MIB blends horns with percussion, electric bass/guitar, vocals, and choreography to produce a dynamic and entertaining show for audience members. The Centennial Station Arts Center is located at 121 S. Centennial Street. in downtown High Point. The Arts Center’s bar will be open for this event, with specials on craft beer and wine.
