Join the High Point Arts Council on Thursday, January 18, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Centennial Station Arts Center for the next Third Thursday concert with live much by folk singer-songwriter David Childers from Mount Holly, NC!
Admission is only $5 and all proceeds go directly to the artist. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at HighPointArts.org/events or at the door on the night of the event beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Back by popular demand, the High Point Arts Council is excited to once again have David Childers back at the Centennial Station Arts Center for an intimate performance for their Third Thursday Concert series. Since Childers last performance with the Arts Council at the Day in the Park Festival in 2016, the highly praised NC songwriter has continued to climb the ranks in the music industry through numerous live performances and the release of another successful album.
In May of 2017, Childers released his latest album Run Skeleton Run through Ramseur Records which features songs accompanied by Scott Avett and Bob Crawford of the Avett Brothers. Since the release in May, Run Skeleton Run has received great coverage from music outlets across the nation and even made WCNW’s list of top 100 albums in 2017.
The Centennial Station Arts Center is located at 121 S. Centennial St. in downtown High Point. The Centennial Station bar will also be open for this event with specials on craft beer and wine.
