Part of Upcoming Prime Time on Main Event that Engages the Community
HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 19, 2018 — The High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau (HPCVB) will celebrate Mardi Gras during the upcoming Prime Time on Main event Tues., Feb. 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Regional Visitors Center. Participants will enjoy everything from photo ops with Mardi Gras attire, refreshments and live music.
“This is our second annual Mardi Gras celebration and one of our more heavily attended events,” says Nancy Bowman, director of sales and marketing at the HPCVB. “Last year we had almost 100 people who were engaging with the exhibits and earning beads through a scavenger hunt.”
This year, attendees will have a chance to earn door prizes including a gift basket from Pandora’s Manor and an overnight stay at Wingate by Wyndham High Point. Complimentary refreshments will be provided and local musician Brandon Vaughn will be playing jazz.
