HIGH POINT TO OPEN ITS FIRST CITY DOG PARK ON JUNE 1
HIGH POINT, N.C. (May 24, 2018) – High Point Parks & Recreation will open its first public dog park on Friday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. A ribbon cutting and the official opening of the park will follow a brief program. The public is welcome to attend and bring their dogs.
The new facility, located at 300 West Parris Avenue in High Point, features two off-leash areas, dog fountains, dog waste stations, and benches and shade for the humans.
Dog Park tags will be available at the June 1 event; please bring a copy of your dog’s rabies vaccination to obtain one. Dog Park tags can also be obtained starting May 31 by visiting the High Point Parks & Recreation Administration office at 136 Northpoint Avenue.
