High Point University Announces New Hires. Welcomes four new staff members during the month of November
HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 7, 2018 – High Point University welcomed four new staff members during the month of November. They are as follows:
Jennifer Roberts joined the Office of Accounting Services at HPU as budget director.
She manages the operating and capital budget processes for the university and develops the annual budget. She also creates financial analyses that support the university in long-term strategic planning. Previously, she worked in treasury and financial planning roles, both in the banking industry and in corporate finance. She was the assistant vice president of finance for Tanger Outlets before joining HPU. Roberts received her bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and her master’s degree in business administration. She also holds certifications in treasury and in corporate financial planning and analysis.
Rachel DeCrane joined the Office of Institutional Advancement as an advancement officer.
She maintains relationships with alumni, parents and friends of the university and encourages them to invest in HPU’s growth, academic programs and environment. Previously, DeCrane’s work has focused on fundraising and finance for political campaigns. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in political management.
Gabby Reklau joined the Office of Community Relations as campus concierge and building manager for the Congdon School of Health Sciences and Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy.
She works with faculty, staff and students to schedule spaces for events, meetings and study locations. She also helps with events in the building and provides service as a campus concierge. Reklau previously worked in health care IT and has more than 13 years of customer service experience. She received a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
Joshua Moore joined the Office of Information Technology as a data analyst.
He provides reports and information to university leaders for data-driven decision making. He supports and maintains the business intelligence, data reporting and identity management systems of the university. Previously, he worked as a Linux systems administrator and security analyst at an iOS mobile development start-up. He also worked as a systems support analyst for Wells Fargo. Moore graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with an emphasis on formal logic and a minor in classical studies.
