High Point University To Host Eastern Music Festival Concert
HIGH POINT, N.C., July 2, 2018 – High Point University will host a pops concert for the community at 7:30 p.m. on July 16 in Hayworth Fine Arts Center. The free concert is part of the Eastern Music Festival, which brings talented musicians to the Piedmont Triad each year.

The concert will feature the EMF Wind Ensemble performing an entertaining mix of wind band favorites, including classical overtures, Broadway classics, movie blockbusters, plus fabulous marches by John Philip Sousa.
Eastern Music Festival began in 1961 and is recognized as one of the premier summer music educational programs in the U.S. It recruits a variety of students and artists nationwide to Greensboro each summer for the five-week festival.
This year, EMF has more than 60 performances scheduled throughout the area.
