Interested in writing? Join the Pullman Poet Society a High Point Writers’ Group
Pullman Poet Society, High Point Writers’ Group
Are you interested in having your writing published? Are you a songwriter? Future novelist? Poet? Are you involved or would like to know more about creative writing? We are the group for you! Join the Pullman Poet Society at the Centennial Station Arts Center every second Tuesday of the month for the group meet-up from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We will read our current works, participate in creative workshops, and collaborate with other group members for inspiration!
The Pullman Poet Society welcomes all ages, genres, and styles. As well as our monthly group meetings, the Pullman Poet Society participates in poetry readings the first Saturday of every month at Sunrise Books, starting at 11 a.m. We invite anyone in the community who wants to share their writing or songwriting with us, to take part. Sunrise Books is located at 1101 N. Main Street, Suite 202, High Point, 27262.
On Tuesday, October 8, we will be reviewing the work of Friedrich Nietzsche’s “The Parable of a Madman.” We will also be reading our poems dedicated to our town, High Point. Centennial Station Arts Center is located at 121 S. Centennial Street, High Point, 27260.
