Jordan C. Medley Joins Arts Council as Manager of Grants and Support Services
Winston-Salem NC (January 9, 2020) — Jordan C. Medley has joined The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County as Manager of Grants & Support Services. Medley will be a part of the Partner Relations and Services staff where he will manage The Arts Council’s grant programs and cultivate relationships with and develop support services for individual artists and arts organizations.
Medley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he received the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in contemporary dance. Since attending UNCSA, Medley has been a North Carolina based dancer and choreographer and has performed in productions that have given him an opportunity to work with nationally recognized dance world professionals.
Dara Silver, Vice President of Grant Programs and Partner Relations at The Arts Council, said, “We were delighted to find someone with the skill set we needed who is a talented artist himself and can approach his duties from that viewpoint, also”.
Medley has his own dance company, Medley of Moves, and has performed, choreographed and premiered work at High Point University, Dance Project, Wake Forest Dance Festival, and musical theater productions in ihe region.
