Letter to the editor: United States Senate resolutions
I would like to commend the U.S. Senate’s two resolutions against the Saudi Arabian dictatorship. One encourages the end of the U.S. governments support for the Saudi war against Yemen. The other blames the Saudi crown prince for the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Saudi Arabia is one of the most illiberal, and anti-Christian countries on the planet. Conservatives who support the Saudi Arabian dictatorship should keep in mind that Christianity is against the law in that country. The punishment for a Saudi citizen that converts to Christianity is death. We Americans, both liberal and conservative, should boycott Saudi Arabia. After that we should look at the Chinese dictatorship.
