“As someone who came from a very overweight background, 250 pounds at my heaviest, losing my weight gave me a passion to help others do the same. Consistency is the toughest aspect of weight loss for most, we try to solve this with personal coaching and building a community” said Allen Sainato, owner of The Healthy Boro.
The Healthy Boro opened its doors in July of 2018 and is owned by Allen and Lauren Sainato, 2 locals of Greensboro. Losing over 70 pounds and keeping it off for 10 years, Allen found a passion for health and fitness, something he believed his community needed. Lauren is a currently certified personal trainer and runs a cancer survivor exercise program at a local gym. Already helping others lose over 500 pounds, this couple is just getting started.
