mike-flyer-muddy-creekMike Mitchell Trio, featuring award-winning bassist, Mark Schatz, to perform at Muddy Creek Music Hall, Thursday, January 12, 8:00 p.m. Muddy Creek is located at 5455 Bethania Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.

Fan favorite of the two Virginias, Mike has been singing his heart out and fiddling up a storm for 20 years. Playing Mike’s well known songs from the alt rock and folksinger days, through the bluegrass years, and into new material, Mike is keeping it acoustic while exploring the full spectrum of Americana music. “Excited about bringing this music to the people!” Mark Schatz, IBMA awarding-winning bassist, best known for his touring and recording with Nickel Creek, joins Mike for this show. Also performing will be Eli Wildman, longtime mandolin student of Mike’s at Floyd Music School.
