Poetry Reading at Sunrise Books in High Point
Join the High Point Arts Council’s Pullman Poet Society (PPS) for a free reading on Sat., Mar. 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunrise Books. Sunrise Books is located at 7 Hillcrest Place in High Point.
The PPS published the first volume of their ongoing anthology this past January and will be reading poems from this volume as well as new works that have been written since its release. The PPS has been bringing writers together since 2016 and was created to build a stronger writing community in the High Point area. The PPS meets on the second Monday of each month at the Centennial Station Arts Center in downtown High Point. There are no fees to be a part of the group or to attend the meetings. The PPS is open to writers of all ages and skill levels.
