RiverRun Seeking Volunteers for April 4–14 RiverRun International Film Festival
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (FEBRUARY 21, 2019)—The RiverRun International Film Festival is seeking volunteers to work during this year’s festival, which will take place April 4-14. Volunteer jobs include film venue ushering, selling and taking tickets, serving at parties, office work, promotional work in advance of the festival and a wide range of hospitality services.
Volunteers must complete a minimum of two four-hour shifts during the course of the festival. In return for their service, volunteers will receive a RiverRun volunteer t-shirt, one film screening voucher per four-hour shift, free access to official RiverRun gala, a chance to enjoy a post festival volunteer celebration and more. The 2019 RiverRun International Film Festival will feature more than 150 screenings in Winston-Salem and Greensboro. Based in Winston-Salem, RiverRun is an Academy Award-qualifying festival in two categories: Documentary Short and Animated Short. RiverRun is evaluating more than 1,600 films that were submitted for consideration and will announce the 2019 festival lineup on March 12. Tickets will be available to members on March 13 and 14 and will go on sale to the general public on March 15 at riverrunfilm.com.
