Salemtowne Presents Health and Wellness Fair on May 30
Salemtowne — a nonprofit, continuing care retirement community renowned for providing the highest standards and options for seniors—will celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day on Wednesday, May 30 with a community health and wellness fair. The event will take place at Salemtowne’s Smith Saal from 1 to 4 p.m.
Free and Open to the Public
The health and wellness fair will feature a variety of vendors that will provide free health screenings along with wellness and nutrition information. The event also will offer chair massages and drawings for a variety of door prizes. Salemtowne’s health and wellness fair is free and open to the public.
“This is going to be a great event for participants to learn more about the wide variety of great health and wellness resources that are readily available in the Winston-Salem community,” Salemtowne Director of Life Enrichment Amy Pagano said. “Activities on May 30 will include booths staffed by Novant, Wake Forest Baptist Health and Fleet Feet as well as information tables about skin care, blood pressure testing, nutrition and much more.”
“Whether you’re a Salemtowne resident or not, I encourage all local seniors to join us for this important event as we recognize National Senior Health & Fitness Day,” she added. “This is a great opportunity to spend the afternoon having fun, enjoying the festivities and learning more about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle for seniors.”
