The Barnabas Network hosts Fall Warehouse Furniture Sale Fundraiser Oct. 18-19 event back by popular demand
Greensboro, N.C. – The Barnabas Network is pleased to offer its Fall Warehouse Furniture Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct.19, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 20, noon – 3 p.m., at the Executive Square Shopping Center, 2710 North Church St. (corner of Cone Blvd. and Church St.), Greensboro, NC 27405.
The fall sale will feature several tractor trailers of new and like-new furniture donated by local retailers and manufacturers. The event is made possible through the support of the Koury Corporation, and all proceeds benefit Barnabas’s mission to provide basic home furnishings at no cost to qualified individuals and families transitioning from homelessness, recovering from setbacks, fleeing domestic violence, or living on incomes that cannot cover basic needs.
“We’re looking forward to this sale. Our previous sales were a huge success and funds raised have been a game changer for our organization,” says Barnabas Executive Director Derrick Sides. “People start lining up early, so it’s always an exciting moment when the doors open. We’ll see you there!”
Last year, The Barnabas Network served 2,099 people in 770 households. This translated to more than 8,000 pieces of furniture distributed to families in need;1,067 pieces were beds, and half of them went to school-age children. For more information or questions about the sale, call 336-370-4002 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The Barnabas Network is funded through the gifts of private donors, foundation support, and fundraising events.
