Greensboro, NC – The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro is pleased to announce two new shows coming to Downtown Greensboro: Forever Motown on Friday, June 14, and Brit-pop icon Adam Ant’s Friend or Foe Tour on Wednesday, September 25. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 22, and will be available in person at the Carolina Theatre Box Office in Downtown Greensboro, by phone at 336-333-2605, or online at CarolinaTheatre.com.
FOREVER MOTOWN * FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 8PM
An incredible collection of performers form a Motown Super Group, featuring all-time great G.C. Cameron, original lead singer of The Spinners, and Motown legend Glenn Leonard, former lead singer and Grammy award winner with The Temptations, along with members of the Marvelettes. An all-star cast performing your favorite Motown legends’ hits from The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, and more!
Tickets on sale to the public Friday, March 22, at noon. Tickets are $59, $49, $39 or $29, depending on location. Group discount available for parties of 15+ through the Carolina Theatre Box Office. A $3 theatre facility fee and NC sales tax will be added to each ticket.
ADAM ANT: FRIEND OR FOE TOUR * WEDNESDAY. SEPTEMBER 25, 8PM
Pop icon Adam Ant will play his landmark “Friend or Foe” album in its entirety, along with his classic chart-topping singles and favorites at the Carolina Theatre of Greensboro. The “Friend or Foe” album was Adam’s first release as a solo artist and included three hit singles. The massive hit “Goody Two Shoes” reached #1 in the UK, was also #1 in Australia, and hit #6 on the USA Billboard Chart. In the USA, the album reached #16 on the Billboard album chart and turned Adam Ant into a household name, resulting in a GRAMMY nomination for Best New Artist and an MTV Award for Sexiest Man Alive. From his early punk days in London to his explosion on the world stage that would lead to him becoming an icon, Adam Ant’s musical career spans the course of nine albums and 22 chart-topping singles worldwide.
Tickets on sale to the public Friday, March 22, at 10AM. Tickets are $55, $45, $35 or $30, depending on location. A $3 facility fee and NC sales tax will be added to each ticket. Please note: There is an 8 ticket limit for this show.
There is an additional $3.50 per ticket service fee on web purchases. To avoid this charge, guests can call the Carolina Theatre Box Office at 336-333-2605 Monday through Friday from noon until 5PM, or visit the Carolina Theatre in person. Guests can also opt to have tickets mailed to them for a $1 postage fee, or can pick tickets up at will call for no additional charge.
