The High Point Arts Council Arts Splash Features Asheville folk artist Vaden Landers
The High Point Arts Council is excited to welcome back Asheville folk artist Vaden Landers to the High Point area for the next Arts Splash concert of the summer! Vaden Landers is a past performer of the Arts Council’s Third Thursday concert series. Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from that performance, and the talented work of Vaden, the Arts Council is thrilled to welcome Vaden Landers back with his full band on Sunday, August 4, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the High Point Museum and Historical Park. This event will be free and open to all ages.
A regular busker on the streets of Asheville, Vaden Landers is a true folk artist that focuses primarily on old-time and country blues music. Vaden Landers launched his musical career when he became known as part of a famous busking group in Asheville known as the Fly By Knight Rounders; which included the infamous Abby the Spoon Lady and the talented Chris Rodrigues. Vaden’s music is the epitome of art that is authentic and heartfelt. With a voice that’s been compared to a young Hank Williams, Vaden’s full band performance at the High Point Museum is not to be missed.
The High Point Museum and Historical Park is located at 1859 E. Lexington Avenue in High Point.
