The High Point Arts Council’s 2019 Arts Splash Kicks Off with Hustle Souls!
The High Point Arts Council is thrilled to kick off the 2019 Arts Splash concert series with the high-energy funk and soul band, Hustle Souls, from Asheville, NC! This year’s kickoff concert will take place on Sunday, June 16 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mendenhall Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point. Admission is completely free and open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners to enjoy along with the music.
Hustle Souls has been climbing the latter of success for many years, and more rapidly so over the past year in particular. Known for their energetic concerts, Hustle Souls delivers a groove-centric style of music that is upbeat and wonderfully highlights the band’s songwriting abilities. In 2017, Hustle Souls was approached by gold and platinum producer Eric “Mixerman” Sarafin about making a record. So in 2018, Hustle Souls released their debut full-length album “Color” to a sold-out crowd and then toured all along the east coast from Atlanta to Boston.
