Valentines Disc Golf Couple Color Challenge set for Feb. 9 at 10am
Archdale, N.C. – We are excited to announce our first ever Valentine’s Disc Golf Couple Color Challenge at Creekside Park. It will be held on February 9th at 10am. When asked why this event was created, Jocelyn Moon, Events Coordinator said, “We wanted to create a unique event utilizing our Disc Golf Course where players can have fun and not worry about whether or not they are throwing the best game of their life”.
This Challenge will be similar to a color run. Couples will play 9 holes alternating throws. The couples score will determine which powdered color they receive. By the end of 9 holes, couples will be festively covered in colored powder. Prizes will be handed out in several fun categories. Couples will be able to win gift cards or certificates to several local establishments. All winning couples will also receive an Innova DX line disc with the Archdale Parks and Recreation Logo on it. Prizes are donated by High Point Bowling Center, State Farm, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Southern Roots, and Pioneer Restaurant.
Beginners are welcome! Entry is 4 non-perishable food items per couple. All food donations will benefit Community Outreach of Archdale and Trinity (COAT). To register, please contact Jocelyn at 336-434-7314 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
