Woods of Terror and Crumley Roberts Team Up for Kids
(Greensboro, NC) Woods of Terror, now in its 28th season, is recognized as one of America’s best haunts, but it’s not for everyone.
“This is a fun place for older teens and adults to get really scared, but it’s not appropriate for kids under 12,” said Eddie McLaurin, owner of Woods of Terror. “That’s why for one day each year, we open up early and let children experience a tiny taste of terror and meet our “monsters” in a more G-rated setting.”
This year Woods of Terror and corporate partner Crumley Roberts are hosting a “Tiny Taste of Terror” on Tues., Oct. 15. On that evening, children with disabilities and special needs will be admitted beginning at 4:30 p.m. (Families interested in participating at the 4:30 p.m. event must RSVP by emailing email@example.com).
The gates will open for all kids and their families at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, except for parents, who will be admitted for free. Three years of age is the minimum for entrance. Children will be treated to lots of candy and can take plenty of selfies with their favorite friendly monsters.
“We are so thankful to Crumley Roberts as well as to our media partners, non-profits, and other friends for collaborating on this exciting and festive holiday event,” said McLaurin. “For the kids, this will be their first exposure to Woods of Terror, and we want it to be a positive experience, so that they’ll come back here when they’re all grown up.”
“For 30 years, Crumley Roberts has been STANDING UP for people of all ages, and we especially love working with our youngest friends in the community through our Crumley Roberts Kids Zone. It is a joy and an honor to show children that they are loved and cared for as we work to create healthier, happier, and safer communities where they can learn, play, and grow.” ―Christopher H. Roberts, President and CEO.
